Programming
Programs that provide services as day training and habilitation facilities are licensed under numerous rules, regulations and statutes. The definition for DT&H services for adults means services that:
- Include supervision, training, assistance, and supported employment, work related activities, or other community integrated activities designed and implemented in accordance with the individual service plan and individual habilitation plans required under Minnesota Rules, parts 9529.0015 to 9525.0165 to help an adult reach and maintain the highest possible level of independence, productivity and integration into the community;
- are provided under contract with the county where services are delivered by a vendor licensed under sections 245A.01 to 245A.16 and 252.28, subdivision 2, to provide day training and habilitation services, and;
- are regularly provided to one or more adults with a developmental disability or related condition in a place other than the adult's own home or residence unless medically contraindicated.
We also work with several special education programs at local school districts to begin the transition process from school to ATHC program services.
As part of our service we also supply door-to-door service from a consumers home to our agencies with the help of a 12 van fleet of vehicles.
