The Adult Training and Habilitation Center is a day training and habilitation center (or facility) in central Minnesota that provides high quality services to adults with developmental disabilities. Our organization's main objective is putting consumers first and we do this by offering individualized services, specialized training and respect and dignity for each person! A variety of opportunities are offered to individuals making each day a new chance to experience something different and exciting.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Adult Training and Habilitation Center, Inc. Winsted/West provides training and habilitation services to individuals developmentally disabled by mental retardation or related conditions. Our mission is to provide services for the consumer based upon individual needs, emphasizing vocational and non-vocational development. Furthermore, to provide training which promotes skill acquisition, development of social skills and increases the independent functioning of each consumer.

To promote quality of life, quality of services, integration, self sufficiency, productivity and independence of each other.
To develop a feeling of self-worth, pride in work, respect, appreciation, and understanding of others for each person served.
To develop the consumer's potential for vocational growth, skills in community integration, continued skill development and to participate in activities of their choice.
To increase the potential for growth through a comprehensive and coordinated system developed for the consumer on an individual basis.
